In UX design, when there is nothing available to show on screen, we talk about “empty states”. For example, a new member area screen where the user has not yet created any files or folders. Now, you can’t just show a blank screen because users may get confused. They may wonder: has the screen finished loading or has the page stopped responding? So, a good solution in this case would be to show an “empty state” icon.
Here is a free collection of empty state icons designed in Figma. There are over 200 icons such as empty shopping cart, zero notifications, etc. You can place these icons on an empty state page to show users that there is nothing to show!
